Honda Motor Co. Japan concept cater dog friendly car, termed as the WOW. The W.O.W. Concept, which stands for "wonderful openhearted wagon”. Honda designer Katsuhito Nakamura said “This vehicle created from the view point of a dog, but it turned out to be a gentler vehicle for the elderly, children and other family members,”.

The W.O.W. has three rows of thin designer seats mounted on a wooden floor. Six people can ride in style or the two second-row seats can transform into a flexible dog cover. Honda has also built another (small) dog storage bin into the left side of the dashboard. The W.O.W comes with removable, washable, rollout flooring and has wide sliding doors to keep dogs happy.

An innovative canine brain receiver (CBR) allows dogs to pilot the W.O.W. by looking in the direction they want to drive. A brain-wave transponder reads the image the dog sees and transposes it over satellite imagery to plot a course using GPS signals. Honda provided no engine details, but should the W.O.W. make it into production, it would likely have a 1.5-liter four. Slightly smaller than a Civic, the 157-inch W.O.W. has front and rear sliding doors on either side and a pair of big commercial-style doors at the back.

Craze for multi faceted and multipurpose objects is a simple human psychology that many of the designers exploit to make their products more interesting and desirable. Now, you tell us that whoever thought of a keyboard with a pencil box, that is a storage utility has surely created an award winning gadget.

This design occupies an inch under the ultra thin keyboard and that surely doesn’t make it look bulky and extra space is surely something that no one would mind. So the interesting part is: while working on your PC you want a pen or pencil, a USB, or CD, simply lift the keyboard and pick it up.

The keyboards come in plain white or black colors with fully compartmentalised storage space. This cool gadget or christmas gift called the Keyboard Organiser is an innovative design and has received lots of accolades and awards.

Marque Gumbs, a 32 year old clerk in New York's Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center made $37,000 a year officially. He actually ranked in millions by ordering and flipping thousands of unneeded toner ink cartridges

When the hospital's printers needed new toners, he was responsible for ordering and receiving them, and then installing them in the facility's various printers. He got a $1000 paycheck every two weeks for doing this. But according to a recently filed criminal complaint, Gumbs ordered $3.8 million unnecessary and incompatible cartridges over the last six years. Reports say that none of these cartridges ever used into the hospital.

Recently, he has caught red-handed through a footage shows him intercepting the toner deliveries and ferreting them off to the hospital's garage. He's currently being held on a charge grand larceny in excess of $1 million. OMG...

World Largest Clock at Mecca, Saudi Arabia
Mecca, the Islamic holy city in Saudi Arabia is constructing the world's largest clock, started counting time yesterday from the beginning of Ramadan.

This clock is located centrally in the city, close to the Grand Mosque and is positioned on a skyscraper. This makes it six times larger than the Big Ben tower in London and can be seen 17km away in evenings. The four clock faces are 46m in diameter, and lit up by 2m LEDs, which flash green when the 5 prayer sessions should commence each day.

Not just a clock tower, the skyscraper forms a cluster of  7 towers which will contain a shopping mall, some 2,000 hotel rooms, enough space for 30,000 to pray in, and even two helipads. Wow! Isn't really a Giant Clock?

Linksys WRT54G Router

Seismic's Craig Heffner claims that he got a tool that can hack "millions" of gateways using a new spin on the age old DNS rebinding vulnerability, and plans to release it into the wild at the Black Hat 2010 conference next week.

He has already tested his hack on thirty different models, of which more than half were vulnerable, including two versions of the ubiquitous Linksys WRT54G and devices running certain DD-WRT and OpenWRT Linux-based firmware. To combat the hack, the usual precautions apply for the love of Mitnick, change your default password but Heffner believes the only real fix will come by prodding manufacturers into action.

Xbox 360 has increased their sales 88% in June month. This Microsoft's product won the title of best-selling console in June because of it's sexy physical redesign. NPD numbers showed that Microsoft shifted 451,700 units in the US, which is more than the Wii's tally of 422,500 and cover-up the PS3's 304,800 numbers.

As Sony US sales were said to have tripled in the immediate aftermath of the new SKU's release so Microsoft might have a little bit of catching up to do yet, but let's not forget that the king of all hardware sales remains the DS, which somehow managed to sell more than half a million devices in June, in spite of the whole world and its dog already owning one.

He's the one who invented the cellphone in the early 1970s, however he has been more popular out in the public recently, when he has given an length interview to CNN in which he ruminates on the invention that quite literally changed the world. Perhaps most notably is that he says he and his team at Motorola always "knew that someday everybody would have a cellphone," but that he found it "hard to imagine that that would happen in my lifetime."

World Most Advanced Electric BikeMotoCzysz E1pc - The world's most advance electronic motorcycle. The technology behind it is not just the future for motorcycles, it's the future of electric vehicles as well.

Michael Czysz, the man behind the machine, has made the MotoCzysz E1pc so advanced that all the major parts of the E1pc, from its motor to its battery packs to even its aerodynamics are all new and class leading. The battery, obviously key in any electric vehicle, is connected without wires and thus can be easily swapped out in seconds. The batteries are hand assembled by a company that develops for NASA and its electric motor runs at nearly 500 volts which is powerful enough to turn a wrench into a pile of molten metal. The motor, called "Digital Drive," offers a nearly direct connection between the throttle and rear wheel, which allows it to be nastily fast.

This electric bike reached a top speed of 140 MPH-besting its closest electric competitor's 102 MPH. The E1pc also clocked a 94.6 MPH lap, tantalizingly close to the 100 MPH goal. But that's not the amazing thing. The E1pc ran that time while using, on average, less than 40% of its throttle and crossed the finish line with, according to Czysz, with "plenty in reserve."

The MotoCzysz E1pc is set to race this week in the 37.7 mile of twists and turns that is the Isle of Man TT, a race that is designed to break motorcycles and its riders and if completed gives a motorcycle instant credibility.

Apple's Solar Powered Patent Snapshot
Few weeks ago, we updated with "Apple Cover Flow Patent" now it's time for Apple's another patent i.e. Solar Powered. This Solar-powered Apple patents are nothing new, but it's the fact that Steve intended to blanket his devices with the technology. Cupertino's latest patent application shows different - the photocells are inside. "By integrating both the touch sensors and the solar cell layers into the same stack-up, surface area on the portable device may be conserved," reads the filing. Nerd to English translation: the next iDevice you hold might have energy-giving solar panels built right into that spacious, responsive multitouch screen.

Bluetooth 4.0 technology ImageThe next generation of Bluetooth technology i.e. "Bluetooth 4.0" should complete sometime in June 2010. The new Bluetooth 4.0 is exciting for two main reasons:
  1. Low-power consumption
  2. And high speed data transfer are priorities in Bluetooth 4.0
Low-power consumption could come in handy for electronics such as pedometers and glucose monitors. Obviously you do not want to keep charging and replacing batteries every few months. Bluetooth’s power consumption will be so minute that the battery can last years. Mobile phones and PCs can definitely use the low-power consumption as well as high speed data transfer rates. In addition, another cumbersome limitation of the current Bluetooth technology is the 30 foot range rule, however Bluetooth 4.0 will make that limits of 200 feet and higher.
