Sony unveiled a cool new gadget the new Sony TX1 and Sony WX1 cameras today with the IPT-DS1 Partyshot docking station. The Sony IPT-DS1 Partyshot pans and tilts the camera while adjusting zoom settings. It comes with face detection and smile shutter recognize and track faces for happy & naturally composed pictures of everyone in the room. So you can have a dinner party and just place the TX1 in the IPT-DS1 activate Partyshot and you are done. After the party your camera is full with photo of smiling party guests.

The Sony IPT-DS1 is supposed to be available in September. Pricing is not known yet.
